Talk about menopause with confidence at every level of the business

Menopause affects the majority of women and some trans and non-binary colleagues, typically in their 40s and 50s, right in the middle of their working lives. CIPD research has found that one in six women have considered leaving their job due to a lack of menopause support and over a quarter say their symptoms have had a negative impact on their career progression, often because managers didn’t know how to respond.

That’s why this is run as two connected 90-minute sessions: one built for all staff and one built for line managers and team leaders. Book one, or both back-to-back for a complete, organisation-wide approach.

  • Free training needs analysis before your sessions
  • Delivered in plain English, grounded in real workplace scenarios
  • Free post-course telephone & email support

Who should attend

The Staff session is for everyone, not just those currently experiencing menopause. The Managers session is for line managers, team leaders, supervisors and HR professionals with people-management responsibility. Many organisations book both, back-to-back, for a consistent message across the business.

*Pricing depends on delegate numbers, session choice and delivery format. Get in touch and we’ll put together a quote. Neither session is medical or legal advice. See the FAQs below.

Frequently asked questions

What’s the difference between the Staff and Managers sessions?

The Staff session builds general awareness for everyone in the business; the Managers session adds legal responsibilities and confident-conversation skills for anyone with line-management responsibility. Both run for 90 minutes and they’re designed to work well back-to-back, but can also be booked separately.

Is this session only for women?

No. Menopause affects people at every level of an organisation, directly or through a colleague, partner or family member. We’d always encourage mixed audiences for the Staff session.

What’s the legal risk if we don’t train managers?

Menopause-related claims can fall under the Equality Act 2010 (sex, age or disability discrimination) and general health and safety duties. This session isn’t legal advice, but it gives managers the awareness to avoid the most common pitfalls. We’d always recommend checking specific cases with your HR or legal advisor.

Can this be delivered in-house or online?

Yes, closed tailored sessions run on your site or live online via Microsoft Teams, for a group of your choosing.

How is the session priced?

The Virtual Session and In-House Single Session both start from £295.00 + VAT for up to 15 people. Pricing for the Complete Bundle and bespoke options depends on delegate numbers and delivery format. Get in touch and we’ll put together a quote.

Is this medical or legal advice?

No, these are workplace awareness sessions, not medical or legal advice. For personal symptoms we’d recommend speaking to a GP or specialist; for specific employment situations, check with your HR team or a qualified legal advisor.
