Introduction

This one-day instructor led course is designed to give experienced users of Microsoft PowerPoint knowledge of more advanced and creative commands and features and how to apply these in their own presentations.

Course Objectives

  • Create a uniformity of style to their presentation with design templates and colour schemes
  • Incorporate links to other applications, files and presentations within their presentations
  • Improve the professionalism of their presentations with sound and video and final draft techniques

Pre-requisites

We recommend that all those who attend have previously attended Keys Trainingā€™s PowerPoint Introduction level course or have equivalent knowledge

  • Grouping and ungrouping images for editing
  • Inserting a chart from Excel with links and without
  • Creating a custom chart type
  • Importing text from Word
  • Adding sound and movie clips
  • Exporting an outline to Word
  • Using colour schemes and default fill/line options
  • Creating templates & master slides
  • Applying a template from another presentation
  • Using final draft tools: style checker, spell-checker, replace options
  • Creating hyperlinks to other applications and files
  • Inserting slides from other presentations
  • Running a slide show using automatic timings
  • Customising transitions
